Acil Granath didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yaya Assegaf's late challenge caught a ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yaya Assegaf helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 梅寒振 to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, 肖斐康 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 minutes of play, Putra Rewulu's Joni Rahardjo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 余笑渊 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adrianus Tambunan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 雷耀棋 in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute 雷耀棋 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianus Tambunan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王's goal looked a bit too open when Pär Goy came free, but 余笑渊 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joni Rahardjo in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 余笑渊 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 余笑渊 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bagong Pakasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pär Goy in the 36th minute of play forced ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王's goalkeeper 余笑渊 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王's 雷耀棋 got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 余笑渊 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pär Goy in the 39th minute of play. When 康邦谦 fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王's protests and gave 康邦谦 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 康邦谦 to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Putra Rewulu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 黄益谦 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joni Rahardjo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 51st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Putra Rewulu's Joni Rahardjo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王's 余笑渊 got control of the ball when Pär Goy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Putra Rewulu's zone, 莫思平 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrianus Tambunan came out of the goal and 莫思平 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Putra Rewulu's Judika Thamrin was substituted for Dede Harjo. Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 黄益谦 in the 64th minute of play. Adrianus Tambunan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 毛宽超 in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match, Bagong Pakasi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 余笑渊 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 76 minutes into the game, Bagong Pakasi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 余笑渊. Bagong Pakasi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After having played for 84 minutes, Pär Goy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Putra Rewulu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pär Goy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Putra Rewulu's Mahadi Anhar got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Mahadi Anhar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When 莫思平 came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 莫思平 couldn't finish the play. The Putra Rewulu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Putra Rewulu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
