Cafer Yasık made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Başar Kutsoy in the 3rd minute of play. Cafer Yasık made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doğaner Şanalp in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cafer Yasık prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute, Cebrail Camcı had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When İsmail Orhun Kerim fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hamur's protests and gave İsmail Orhun Kerim a yellow card for diving instead. Gelâtâserray's Kamber Selim was substituted for Cebrail Camcı. İsmail Orhun Kerim kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Kamber Selim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafer Yasık saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Başar Kutsoy in the 34th minute of play forced Hamur's goalkeeper Cafer Yasık to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafer Yasık tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Bülent Yarkın to strike the kick off in the second half. Feyzullay Keskinel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Bülent Yarkın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamur's Hadi Tancan got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute Ahmet Bülent Yarkın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feyzullay Keskinel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yiğit Can Camcıoğlu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Hadi Tancan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match Bulut Türköne shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cafer Yasık showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gelâtâserray's Başar Kutsoy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cafer Yasık. That made the score 0-4 after 70 minutes of play. Doğaner Şanalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Cafer Yasık made a huge save. Ahmet Bülent Yarkın scored 1-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feyzullay Keskinel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gelâtâserray's Feyzullay Keskinel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Bülent Yarkın in the 79th minute of play. Arif Ensar Belek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cafer Yasık read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Ahmet Bülent Yarkın charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Bülent Yarkın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gelâtâserray booed when Hamur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Bülent Yarkın didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamur's Cafer Yasık proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Hamur from getting a goal against them.
