Nils Asklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 4 played minutes Republic of Jämtland got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Gustafsson. After a defensive mix-up in Republic of Jämtland's zone, Radowit Zerde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morgan Bolander came out of the goal and Radowit Zerde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Morgan Bolander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Lundgren in the 12th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Jimmy Gustavsson rounded Balders Hage IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Inge Johansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Eric Fredriksson made a huge save. 23 minutes into the game, Timmy Rönn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balders Hage IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Republic of Jämtland the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Balders Hage IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Rönn to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Inge Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Republic of Jämtland's supporters rose to their feet, but Inge Johansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 played minutes Republic of Jämtland got a freekick which was hit by Evert Sjöström. If Inge Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jimmy Gustavsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Balders Hage IF booed when Republic of Jämtland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Malmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Nils Asklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Morgan Bolander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Balders Hage IF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils Asklund made a kick off. Morgan Bolander made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Nils Asklund sent off a good shot on target. Eric Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Gustavsson in the 53rd minute of the match. During the 56th minute of the match Timmy Rönn completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Timmy Rönn a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Morgan Bolander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sigvard Brask went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Nils Asklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Morgan Bolander made a huge save. If Evert Sjöström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Balders Hage IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Gustavsson came free, but Eric Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ove Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Inge Johansson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, Sigvard Brask lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Morgan Bolander. After having played for 81 minutes, Nils Asklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balders Hage IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Asklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ove Lundgren came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Balders Hage IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ove Lundgren couldn't finish the play. Jimmy Gustavsson's late challenge caught a Balders Hage IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmy Gustavsson helped the player get up and apologised. When the match was over Balders Hage IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Republic of Jämtland throughout the match.
