Einar Hedström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Sundström having to interfere. Al-Norr's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stefan Hodyl ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stefan Hodyl to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrik Melberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Hodyl took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egon Sundström. Egon Sundström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Hodyl in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egon Sundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gunnar Nordahl hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Stefan Hodyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Karl Göransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Al-Norr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eskil Smedfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Kristoffer Johansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenal FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
