After a rather tough play, Cash Is King's Fredrik Söderström got a free kick in the 4th minute. Chrisostomos Grimsø kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Fredrik Söderström's late challenge caught a Karen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Söderström helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Cash Is King got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Söderström. Brian Öberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th match minute, Karen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Cash Is King's Jens-Ola Fågel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bon Guidetti in the 21st minute of play. Tobias Godholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jens-Ola Fågel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Öberg in the 45th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Ma Yong Jun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Öberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

52 minutes into the game, Cash Is King's Brian Öberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ma Yong Jun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bon Guidetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Fågel having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Cash Is King was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Hamberg to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Godholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bon Guidetti in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ola Fågel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Börge Sundberg came free, but Ma Yong Jun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Cash Is King's goal looked a bit too open when Chrisostomos Grimsø came free, but Jens-Ola Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Brian Öberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Ma Yong Jun however easily saved by the left post. Jens-Ola Fågel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chrisostomos Grimsø in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Jimmie Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ma Yong Jun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmie Olofsson struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ma Yong Jun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cash Is King. During the 86th minute of the match Göran Axelsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Göran Axelsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
