Michel Bergendahl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gunnar Holmberg went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Hake during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Boomerang Bombers's Claes Sandström got control of the ball when Fredrik Löv tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michel Bergendahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Hallgren in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Michel Bergendahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Hockeysnubbarnas BK from getting a goal against them. In the 77th match minute, Boomerang Bombers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Falkrans to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hockeysnubbarnas BK booed when Boomerang Bombers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Wennerström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of Boomerang Bombers echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Hockeysnubbarnas BK had held the ball for most of the match.
