Björnlunda IF's Peter Ivarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Holmberg in the 25th minute of play. Peter Ivarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Hallgren in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, Björnlunda IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Wennersten to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Björnlunda IF booed when Boomerang Bombers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Söderquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Simon Wennersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Stensson having to interfere. Gunnar Holmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Ivarsson having to interfere. Peter Ivarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Holmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harald Tillman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Malte Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Stensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otto Falkrans got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Håkan Svanér. Thanks to some nice moves Gunnar Holmberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Peter Ivarsson however easily saved by the left post. In the 57th minute Boomerang Bombers were awarded a corner. Joel Hake went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Boomerang Bombers's corner Axel Thedin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Peter Ivarsson quite easily take care of the ball. Axel Thedin had several of the Björnlunda IF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Peter Ivarsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ernst Högberg hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Lucas Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boomerang Bombers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Åström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Ivarsson came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Boomerang Bombers's Gunnar Holmberg. But to his dismay, Gunnar Holmberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Gunnar Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Holmbergs short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Peter Ivarsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 81st minute Malte Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Stensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boomerang Bombers's Mikael Stensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malte Danielsson in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Danielsson came free, but Mikael Stensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boomerang Bombers's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
