After some careless play in the IFK Vinkel defense, Ted Forsman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Calle Malmberg. The IFK Vinkel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calle Malmberg should have stopped the shot. Bo Kilstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Wall in the 10th minute of the match. Ulf Drake charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulf Drake the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of IFK Vinkel booed when Hisingstads BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Drake didn't get a good kick on the ball. IFK Vinkel's Calle Malmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicklas Skark in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute Ted Forsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calle Malmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calle Malmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Gunnarsson in the 21st minute of play. Viktor Wall struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Bo Kilstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Vinkel. In the 25th match minute, IFK Vinkel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Lange to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Hisingstads BK's Ted Forsman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bo Kilstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatan Malmberg in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Hisingstads BK's goalkeeper Bo Kilstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Lindkvist. In the 43rd minute Kjell-Arne Wennerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Kilstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, IFK Vinkel's Bror Sandberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2.

In the 87thth minute of the game Wilhelm Wallgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hisingstads BK's Bo Kilstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Hisingstads BK booed when IFK Vinkel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvar Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bo Kilstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Bålström in the 94th minute of play. In the 97th match minute, IFK Vinkel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zlatan Malmberg to maneuver through the defense. Hisingstads BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
