Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Per Lindqvist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th match minute, Stadsbornas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthon Fastesson to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Dalkvist struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Jan Olenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gnesta Oilers. The supporters of Stadsbornas IF booed when Gnesta Oilers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Hammarberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kasper Vallman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Lars Hammarberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gnesta Oilers's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Hammarberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Olenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Kasper Vallman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan Olenberg. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Stadsbornas IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gnesta Oilers:s goal. Gnesta Oilers's Holger Vennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Forss in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute Jack Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Olenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Sverker Fågel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gnesta Oilers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stadsbornas IF the free kick. In the 25th minute, Sverker Fågel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holger Vennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Vidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Lars Hammarberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kasper Vallman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Jan Olenberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gnesta Oilers's Lars Hammarberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Lars Hammarberg off the ground. A collision led to Gnesta Oilers getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lars Hammarberg hit a great ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Jonas Smitt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gnesta Oilers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Smitt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jan Olenberg came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Gnesta Oilers's Jack Bergman. But to his dismay, Jack Bergman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Stadsbornas IF's Ove Jakobsson got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Jack Bergman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Olenberg. Stadsbornas IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jack Bergman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Stefan Dalkvist hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Jonas Smitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jan Olenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Stefan Dalkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jonas Smitt came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Gnesta Oilers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Smitt couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Per Lindqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Kasper Vallman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gnesta Oilers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stadsbornas IF the free kick. In the 94th match minute, Gnesta Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasper Vallman to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute of the match Anthon Fastesson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Holger Vennerlund skillfully saved the ball. Gnesta Oilers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
