Horaţiu Patrichi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Finteșteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Bara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carp Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC GURZUN the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Carp Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Bara to maneuver through the defense. Leontin Şendrea charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leontin Şendrea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC GURZUN booed when Carp Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Şendrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leontin Şendrea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Marcel Gâfu made a huge save. The wind increased when Albert Finteșteanu made the kick off in the second half. Horaţiu Patrichi made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Albert Finteșteanu sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute Tiago Vulcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Gâfu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Carp Team's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Bârlea came free, but Horaţiu Patrichi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Gâfu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Şendrea in the 59th minute of play. Mihai Secară could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Horaţiu Patrichi made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valer Bârlea in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horaţiu Patrichi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horaţiu Patrichi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albert Finteșteanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 92 minute of play.
