Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iosif Spiru started the match with the kick off. With his leg Remus Manciulea managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Cernavoda's Iosif Spiru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ovidiu Zorlescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudiu Grămescu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Daniel Bădulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Zorlescu in the 9th minute of the match. Cernavoda's Daniel Bădulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Baicu in the 10th minute of play. Remus Manciulea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iosif Spiru's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Gelu Flamaropol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Zorlescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Bădulescu. Cernavoda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidiu Zorlescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Daniel Bădulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Nedelea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Sabin Baicu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Sabin Baicu made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Bădulescu. Cernavoda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Remus Manciulea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iosif Spiru in the 41st minute. The supporters of Cernavoda booed when Soca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Encioiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gelu Flamaropol, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Cernavoda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Soca were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidiu Zorlescu to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Zorlescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Bădulescu. Cernavoda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidiu Zorlescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 56 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Zorlescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Daniel Bădulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 59 played minutes Cernavoda got a freekick which was hit by Matei Musta. Daniel Bădulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Gheară in the 61st minute of the match. Remus Manciulea came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Cernavoda's Eduard Neacșu. But to his dismay, Eduard Neacșu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Remus Manciulea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Spiru, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soca's goalkeeper Remus Manciulea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cernavoda's Daniel Bădulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Baicu in the 87th minute of play. Sabin Baicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Daniel Bădulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
