Victor Mocanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Aurelian Fundătoreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Victor Mocanu made a huge save. A collision led to The Owls getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Joel Bufi hit a great ball. The Owls's Valentin Ursulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Joel Bufi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Bufi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Victor Mocanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joel Bufi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Mocanu having to make a save. Martin Buteanu charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Buteanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of The Owls booed when LIVERPOOL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Buteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Mocanu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aurelian Fundătoreanu.
