Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Codruț Ferenț got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Ferenț in the 2nd minute of play forced MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Vlad Anghel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, MIT Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Ciolacu to maneuver through the defense. Leontin Iacobescu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Edgar Teodor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Ţintea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodor Lucaci hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 13th match minute, MIT Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Teodor to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leontin Iacobescu in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gelu Ţintea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vlad Anghel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Ferenț in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, MIT Craiova's Sabin Eniceicu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sabin Eniceicu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MIT Craiova protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sabin Eniceicu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL booed when MIT Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Eniceicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Dumitru Tănăsie broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vlad Anghel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Ferenț in the 33rd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Ferenț came free, but Vlad Anghel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gelu Ţintea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Teodor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, George Tilea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIT Craiova the free kick. A collision led to GoooooooooooooooooooooooL getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. George Tilea hit a great ball. When Silviu Curăreanu fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's protests and gave Silviu Curăreanu a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes GoooooooooooooooooooooooL got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Curăreanu. MIT Craiova's Valer Măliță took a good shot, in the 47th minute, which hit the crossbar above Gelu Ţintea's head, and flew over the goal. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by MIT Craiova. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

59 minutes into the match, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Iacobescu came free, but Gelu Ţintea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinu Slicaru during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes GoooooooooooooooooooooooL got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Slicaru. Virgil Valerian charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgil Valerian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vlad Anghel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Bociort in the 70th minute of play. MIT Craiova's Vlad Anghel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Slicaru in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Edgar Teodor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gelu Ţintea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Codruț Ferenț in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vlad Anghel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Gelu Ţintea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save GoooooooooooooooooooooooL from getting a goal against them. George Tilea kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Gelu Ţintea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Ciolacu in the 86th minute of play. Gelu Ţintea came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by MIT Craiova's Leontin Iacobescu. But to his dismay, Leontin Iacobescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 94 played minutes MIT Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Teodor. After 96 played minutes MIT Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Lucaci. The supporters of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL booed when MIT Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Lucaci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 99 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Ferenț came free, but Vlad Anghel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see GoooooooooooooooooooooooL lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
