In the 3rd minute Pankracy Psotka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Chwalkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Giertych came free, but Lukasz Marek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roland Frankowski kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, one of Lyna Lidzbark Warminski:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lyna Lidzbark Warminski. Lyna Lidzbark Warminski:s Lukasz Marek showed great skill when he stopped Cyryl Giertych:s penalty. After a rather tough play, PKS Marymont Warszawa's Ryszard Zacharzewski got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes, Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's Tolek Odachowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cyryl Chwalkiewicz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's Lukasz Marek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Giertych in the 35th minute of play. Pankracy Psotka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cyryl Giertych might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lukasz Marek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cyryl Giertych ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, Lyna Lidzbark Warminski's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Giertych came free, but Lukasz Marek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Lukasz Marek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyryl Giertych, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Cyryl Giertych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
