When Milosz Hetman fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rega Merida CF's protests and gave Milosz Hetman a yellow card for diving instead. Milosz Hetman kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Rega Merida CF's Adam Soszka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Zbikowski in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes, Bernard Kowalski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Catalonia and the Rega Merida CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Catalonia were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
