After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Mikolaj Figlewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piotrków Trybunalski's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikolaj Figlewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartosz Franzik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miromir Wieczorek got free with Dawid Damaski in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Grzegorz Olejasz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jaroslaw Kempski fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piotrków Trybunalski's protests and gave Jaroslaw Kempski a yellow card for diving instead.
