Michal Szostak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Paixão in the 5th minute of play. Bogdan Kornaszewski hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The supporters of 1909 Tarnovia booed when KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Paixão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Slawomir Wojciechowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, 1909 Tarnovia's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Paixão came free, but Michal Szostak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Szostak didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Slawomir Wojciechowski shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, 1909 Tarnovia's Zula Bara got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Slawomir Wojciechowski got a free kick in the 41st minute. 1909 Tarnovia's Wieslaw Tscherner shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dawid Nakonieczny but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, 1909 Tarnovia's Ulryk Puch got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Slawomir Wojciechowski to make the kick off. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Slawomir Wojciechowski got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 53 played minutes KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A got a freekick which was hit by Marco Paixão. In the 55th minute, Slawomir Wojciechowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Michal Szostak. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 62nd minute of the match, Slawomir Wojciechowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Michal Szostak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 64th minute Barnaba Latkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Nakonieczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Latkiewicz came free, but Dawid Nakonieczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes 1909 Tarnovia got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Puch. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Marco Paixão managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zula Bara in the 69 minute of the game. After some careless play in the 1909 Tarnovia defense, Slawomir Wojciechowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michal Szostak. The 1909 Tarnovia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michal Szostak should have stopped the shot. Michal Szostak stood somewhat misplaced when Slawomir Wojciechowski came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 79 minute. In the 83rd match minute, 1909 Tarnovia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomasz Pusiak to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Wawrzyniec Klucznik in the 84th minute really tested Michal Szostak's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A well placed Slawomir Wojciechowski short distance shot in the 88th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Flávio Paixão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michal Szostak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. A collision led to 1909 Tarnovia getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Napoleon Sroka hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Slawomir Wojciechowski got free with Michal Szostak in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
