Teofil Sikola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Żurawski, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Wojciech Szczęsny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Filipowski in the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Jacek Chowaniec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sparta Torex's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacek Chowaniec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wojciech Szczęsny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leszek Moryl in the 16th minute. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Leszek Moryl sped through Ajax Poland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wojciech Szczęsny. Jacek Chowaniec charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacek Chowaniec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacek Chowaniec kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Wojciech Szczęsny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Chowaniec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leszek Moryl took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wojciech Szczęsny. Wojciech Szczęsny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 32 minutes into the match, Sparta Torex's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Pachucki came free, but Teofil Sikola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piotr Modliszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Wojciech Szczęsny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 minutes, Boleslaw Falke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ajax Poland and the Sparta Torex players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulryk Filipowski kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Ajax Poland got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Pachucki. Wojciech Szczęsny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leszek Moryl went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Jacek Chowaniec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Wojciech Szczęsny made a huge save. Waclaw Poremba took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofil Sikola. Teofil Sikola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grzegorz Rasiak was the one to do the kick off. Piotr Modliszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacek Chowaniec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Wojciech Szczęsny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waclaw Poremba got free with Teofil Sikola in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wojciech Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Chowaniec in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Chowaniec in the 73rd minute of play forced Ajax Poland's goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grzegorz Rasiak struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Teofil Sikola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ajax Poland. Jacek Chowaniec scored 6-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wojciech Szczęsny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 93 minutes of play, Sparta Torex's Piotr Modliszewski made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wojciech Szczęsny was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, Ajax Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Chowaniec came free, but Wojciech Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sparta Torex's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
