An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Laur Moorits got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sdny Kryptonite's goalkeeper Ülo Võsandi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Asmund Ødegård took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Vahar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sdny Kryptonite booed when Vikjorden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Runar Hagen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vikjorden were furious when Paul Lindquist was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 36 played minutes Vikjorden got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Dehli. The crowd rose to their feet as Erik Vahar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Asmund Ødegård. That made the score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjetil Arnesen to strike the kick off in the second half. Vikjorden's Kjetil Arnesen got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sdny Kryptonite's zone, Kjetil Arnesen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ülo Võsandi came out of the goal and Kjetil Arnesen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ülo Võsandi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjetil Arnesen in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Juhan Viilukas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asmund Ødegård was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
