Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marty Midgley made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Carlisle United booed when Aleksotas FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustinas Baliutis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th match minute, Carlisle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duncan Draper to maneuver through the defense. Marty Midgley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gareth Vaughn came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Carlisle United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gareth Vaughn couldn't finish the play. Dinaras Kriščiūnas got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alfredas Zinkevičius. With a little luck, Aleksotas FK's Virginijus Taujanskas got control of the ball when Gareth Vaughn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danny Paine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustinas Baliutis, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Aleksotas FK's Augustinas Baliutis, in the 21st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Aleksotas FK. Carlisle United's attentive Hugh Tyson managed to snatch the ball when Alfredas Zinkevičius made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Nedas Stulpinas got a throw-in 29 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Augustinas Baliutis. A collision led to Aleksotas FK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Dinaras Kriščiūnas hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Brad Hudson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aleksotas FK's Virginijus Taujanskas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Aleksotas FK from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Aleksotas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Duncan Draper came free, but Virginijus Taujanskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Vilius Latvėnas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danny Paine. Carlisle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vilius Latvėnas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marty Midgley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virginijus Taujanskas having to interfere. Danny Paine came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Aleksotas FK's Nedas Stulpinas. But to his dismay, Nedas Stulpinas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The wind increased when Vilius Latvėnas made the kick off in the second half. If Gareth Vaughn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Aleksotas FK's Benjaminas Krasauskas got a free kick in the 56th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Augustinas Baliutis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aleksotas FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustinas Baliutis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilius Latvėnas kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Virginijus Taujanskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty Midgley in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Gareth Vaughn notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Aleksotas FK's Virginijus Taujanskas. Virginijus Taujanskas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Duncan Draper, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Danny Paine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjaminas Česnauskas in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Aleksotas FK booed when Carlisle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brad Hudson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 minutes of play, Aleksotas FK's Benjaminas Česnauskas made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danny Paine was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aleksotas FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
