The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robin Pitullich struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Silver Saluste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lord of the Wings. In the 4th minute, Rein Ess hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Harkujärve JK's Kari Munn got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Tiit Kääpa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Craig McQuisten skillfully saved the ball. Silver Saluste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finlay Falconer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finlay Falconer in the 24th minute of play forced Harkujärve JK's goalkeeper Silver Saluste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiit Kääpa in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Craig McQuisten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Tiit Kääpa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Craig McQuisten was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 31st minute Fergus Malcolm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silver Saluste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lord of the Wings were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Harkujärve JK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harry McKendrick took the corner. If Tam Clerk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Robin Pitullich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Craig McQuisten was a little too slow when Heino Hurm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tam Clerk was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Lord of the Wings getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Robin Pitullich hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Finlay Falconer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silver Saluste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Tam Clerk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robin Pitullich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Silver Saluste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lord of the Wings getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Peter Moore hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes, Harkujärve JK's Tiit Kääpa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Craig McQuisten came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Harkujärve JK reached it. Craig McQuisten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janno Arumäe, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 91 minutes into the game, Jack McIndeor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lord of the Wings's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harkujärve JK the free kick. The supporters of Harkujärve JK booed when Lord of the Wings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack McIndeor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lord of the Wings were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Harkujärve JK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harry McKendrick took the corner. Rein Ess tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Silver Saluste. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-2 in the 97th minute. Lord of the Wings were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
