The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Folmar Dandanell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaido Vinter, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, Fc Meremõisa's Kristjan Helemäe got a free kick in the 6th minute. Folmar Dandanell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaido Vinter in the 8th minute. Kristjan Helemäe kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Hønning's Folmar Dandanell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Hønning from getting a goal against them. If Per Nørbjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute Per Nørbjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vahur Aav saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaido Vinter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Folmar Dandanell made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Raul Rähn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mikael Kandil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahur Aav having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Mikael Kandil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hønning's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikael Kandil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vahur Aav breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mikael Kandil came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Hønning fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikael Kandil couldn't finish the play. Vahur Aav took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Romholt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Askild Ene's late challenge caught a Fc Meremõisa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Askild Ene helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hønning getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Askild Ene hit a great ball. Vambola Kalm was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ferdinand Romholt hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Uffe Kolnig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Folmar Dandanell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaido Vinter in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Kaido Vinter made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Raul Rähn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folmar Dandanell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fc Meremõisa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vambola Kalm in the 52nd minute. Fc Meremõisa's Vambola Kalm was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Folmar Dandanell in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kristjan Helemäe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folmar Dandanell having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaido Vinter in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folmar Dandanell saved Hønning from getting behind. When Fc Meremõisa's Kaido Vinter in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hønning's goalie prevented a goal. Kalvi Napasepp might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Folmar Dandanell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kalvi Napasepp ran back to his position shaking his head. Folmar Dandanell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaido Vinter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mikael Kandil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kaido Vinter in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folmar Dandanell saved Hønning from getting behind. If Ferdinand Romholt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vahur Aav was a little too slow when Ferdinand Romholt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-1. Ferdinand Romholt hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Per Nørbjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes, Ferdinand Romholt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hønning and the Fc Meremõisa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fc Meremõisa booed when Hønning was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Romholt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fc Meremõisa had won after a very even match.
