A collision led to Juvenilia getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Donato Colecchia hit a great ball. Les diables noirs's Sam Bertholet got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Donato Colecchia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, Elias Ripoll cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fortunato Bozzelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Madjid Botte's late challenge caught a Juvenilia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Madjid Botte helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Les diables noirs's Madjid Botte got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Juvenilia's Bruno Giannantonio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martial Laude made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Alvise Del Duca came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Juvenilia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvise Del Duca couldn't finish the play. When Elias Ripoll fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les diables noirs's protests and gave Elias Ripoll a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Les diables noirs's Elias Ripoll got a free kick in the 34th minute. Martial Laude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Del Duca in the 35th minute of play. Oscar Carrière did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Fortunato Bozzelli 37 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Les diables noirs's Kamel Cussac got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Alvise Del Duca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les diables noirs's Martial Laude was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 47 played minutes Juvenilia got a freekick which was hit by Ercole Barresi. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Carrière was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot by Donato Colecchia from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Martial Laude's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Bertholet in the 63rd minute of play forced Juvenilia's goalkeeper Fortunato Bozzelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Del Duca in the 65th minute of play forced Les diables noirs's goalkeeper Martial Laude to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Vauzelle in the 66th minute of play forced Juvenilia's goalkeeper Fortunato Bozzelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Sam Bertholet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fortunato Bozzelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Vauzelle went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Alvise Del Duca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Scalia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 85 played minutes Juvenilia got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Di Nardo. Fortunato Bozzelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Vauzelle went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the match, Sam Bertholet notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Juvenilia's Fortunato Bozzelli. Fortunato Bozzelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
