The tension between the Gotham City and the FC Saubrigues players grew even worse after the yellow card. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ernesto Bosso hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Carlo Casciano took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathys Mora. Mathys Mora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Anselmo Olmi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 played minutes Gotham City got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Casciano. Carlo Casciano charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlo Casciano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domenico Di Cintio kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When FC Saubrigues's Faudel Langlois in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gotham City's goalie prevented a goal. Anselmo Olmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anselmo Olmi to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Gotham City's Domenico Di Cintio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Gotham City's Angelo Di Falco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faudel Langlois in the 53rd minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, one of Gotham City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 59th minute, Raphaël Giacometti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Di Falco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 62nd minute Guy Rambaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Di Falco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 64th minute of the match Domenico Di Cintio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Domenico Di Cintio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 65 played minutes Gotham City got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Di Cintio. If Carlo Casciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Gotham City getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Frank Bencivenni hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Faudel Langlois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Di Falco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gotham City's Carter Giannico got a free kick in the 84th minute. A collision led to Gotham City getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Frank Bencivenni hit a great ball. Mathys Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Casciano in the 94th minute of play. FC Saubrigues walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
