When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Alvise Del Duca sped through PAOK FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vassilis Sapanis. PAOK FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juvenilia the free kick. In the 18th minute, Theodosis Giannou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Bruno Giannantonio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 28 played minutes PAOK FC got a freekick which was hit by Eutichios Kaligeros. 29 minutes into the match, PAOK FC's goalkeeper Vassilis Sapanis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvise Del Duca. The PAOK FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of PAOK FC booed when Juvenilia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Di Nardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47thth minute of the game Alvise Del Duca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PAOK FC's Vassilis Sapanis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvise Del Duca to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Juvenilia getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Demetrio Di Nardo hit a great ball. Theodosis Giannou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PAOK FC played a much better game than Juvenilia and deserved their victory. The Juvenilia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
