Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Minas Bissias kicked off to start the match. Amaury Belle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Kabitsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Sheriff's Minas Bissias in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Minas Bissias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amaury Belle was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Amaury Belle came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheriff's Minas Bissias. But to his dismay, Minas Bissias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 12th minute when Minas Bissias elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Jean-Cyrille Pillon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sheriff the free kick. The supporters of Sheriff booed when Formation Pure Lyonnaise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Cyrille Pillon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Kabitsis came free, but Amaury Belle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Minas Bissias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amaury Belle was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. When Sheriff's Minas Bissias in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mickaël Mora during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mickaël Mora kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Sheriff's Dimitris Kabitsis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amaury Belle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A collision led to Sheriff getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Loukas Zografakis hit a great ball. If Ramzi Domenech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the game, Argyris Kalaitzidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Amaury Belle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dimitris Kabitsis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Minas Bissias in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amaury Belle saved Formation Pure Lyonnaise from getting behind. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Amaury Belle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippos Lazakis in the 36th minute of play. Amaury Belle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Minas Bissias in the 37th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Sheriff's Minas Bissias made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amaury Belle was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Argyris Kalaitzidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amaury Belle. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Argyris Kalaitzidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean-Cyrille Pillon was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Minas Bissias put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Amaury Belle. Dimitris Kabitsis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Dimitris Kabitsis came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Sheriff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Kabitsis couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Sheriff's Minas Bissias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amaury Belle. Amaury Belle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Sheriff's Minas Bissias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amaury Belle. That made the score 0-9 after 71 minutes of play. Argyris Kalaitzidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th match minute, Sheriff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanasis Papagiannakos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sheriff getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Sakis Panagoulis hit a great ball. Sheriff's Apostolis Kaliasis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Cyrille Pillon in the 81st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sheriff's Minas Bissias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amaury Belle. That made the score 0-10 after 82 minutes of play. After 85 minutes of play, Sheriff's Minas Bissias made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amaury Belle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lenny Rumeau's late challenge caught a Sheriff's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lenny Rumeau helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sheriff booed when Formation Pure Lyonnaise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Rumeau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sheriff's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
