Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alessandro Iacovella in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manolis Kaloumenos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes, Bianco Mannucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carloforte f.c. and the Aliver-pool players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manolis Kaloumenos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Iacovella in the 15th minute of play. Eustratios Kapetanoglou's late challenge caught a Carloforte f.c.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmine De Bartolo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Stathis Mousikos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beppe Savoia skillfully saved the ball. In the 27th match minute, Aliver-pool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stathis Mousikos to maneuver through the defense. Aliver-pool's Manolis Kaloumenos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Iacovella in the 28th minute of play. Manolis Kaloumenos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Iacovella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesare Cinalli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolis Kaloumenos having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play, Carloforte f.c.'s Alessandro Iacovella made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manolis Kaloumenos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manolis Kaloumenos came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Carloforte f.c.'s Alessandro Iacovella. But to his dismay, Alessandro Iacovella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Alessandro Iacovella scored 0-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manolis Kaloumenos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manolis Kaloumenos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Iacovella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nasos Stratikis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Alessandro Iacovella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carloforte f.c.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Iacovella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolis Kaloumenos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alessandro Iacovella came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Carloforte f.c. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Iacovella couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Aliver-pool's Manolis Kaloumenos got control of the ball when Alessandro Iacovella tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the last second Manolis Kaloumenos throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cesare Cinalli in the 68thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Aliver-pool's Manolis Kaloumenos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Cinalli in the 71st minute of play. Cesare Cinalli was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Manolis Kaloumenos made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Cesare Cinalli sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Carloforte f.c. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alvise Bevilacqua hit a great ball. Eustratios Kapetanoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Savoia having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Alvise Bevilacqua got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Manolis Kaloumenos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Cinalli in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Aliver-pool's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Cinalli came free, but Manolis Kaloumenos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Iacovella's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manolis Kaloumenos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cesare Cinalli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
