Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thanasis Dabizas made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Daniele Cammarota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Achilleas Mavilis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th match minute, Montechiarugolo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Cesarini to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Apostolikas Toskas in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunato Lepori saved Montechiarugolo AFC from getting behind. Ilias Charakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Lepori having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilias Charakos in the 15th minute of play forced Montechiarugolo AFC's goalkeeper Fortunato Lepori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Thanasis Dabizas in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 25 played minutes ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Stelios Mantarinidis. In the 26th minute, Beppe Rosati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fortunato Lepori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apostolikas Toskas in the 29th minute of the match. If Edmondo Santilli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edmondo Santilli came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Montechiarugolo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmondo Santilli couldn't finish the play. Daniele Cammarota scored 2-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Achilleas Mavilis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fortunato Lepori came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Apostolikas Toskas. But to his dismay, Apostolikas Toskas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Stelios Mantarinidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fortunato Lepori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Edmondo Santilli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Achilleas Mavilis was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 56th minute, Stelios Mantarinidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilias Charakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fortunato Lepori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilias Charakos ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmondo Palomba was slow to take the kick. During this time Montechiarugolo AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Montechiarugolo AFC's Edmondo Palomba to fire away a dangerous shot which Achilleas Mavilis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Apostolikas Toskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ booed when Montechiarugolo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Palomba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Achilleas Mavilis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmondo Santilli in the 86th minute of the match. Ilias Charakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Montechiarugolo AFC booed when ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelios Mantarinidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Achilleas Mavilis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Santilli, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Thodoris Negris kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
