Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dimitris Koukoulas made the kick off and thus started the match. Bernardo Lampa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Koukoulas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabiano Canzano charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabiano Canzano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Longobarda's Fabiano Canzano got a free kick in the 7th minute. Bernardo Lampa came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Go Ahead Eagles's Dimosthenis Kakarnakis. But to his dismay, Dimosthenis Kakarnakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute Dimitris Koukoulas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Lampa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Longobarda's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Koukoulas came free, but Bernardo Lampa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Longobarda's Fabiano Canzano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Themistoklis Charalambakis. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. When Go Ahead Eagles's Dimitris Koukoulas in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Longobarda's goalie prevented a goal. Bernardo Lampa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitris Koukoulas went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Longobarda defense, Dimosthenis Kakarnakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Lampa. The Longobarda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Lampa should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fortunato Vanni to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Miltos Theriaklis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Go Ahead Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Longobarda the free kick. After 51 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Miltos Theriaklis. In the 53rd minute, Miltos Theriaklis made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Lampa. Longobarda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Fabiano Canzano got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 56th minute, Fabiano Canzano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 minutes, Dimitris Koukoulas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Go Ahead Eagles and the Longobarda players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Dimitris Koukoulas hit a great ball. When Vassilis Stratidis came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Go Ahead Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vassilis Stratidis couldn't finish the play. If Vassilis Stratidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Lampa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vassilis Stratidis in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dimosthenis Kakarnakis hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Dimitris Koukoulas could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Bernardo Lampa however easily saved by the left post. In the 87th minute of the match, Dimitris Koukoulas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bernardo Lampa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bernardo Lampa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vassilis Stratidis in the 89th minute of the match. When the match was over Go Ahead Eagles could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Longobarda throughout the match.
