After 4 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Birjaio. Fabrizio Grandis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shao Yan Feng having to make a save. 14 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Shao Yan Feng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrizio Grandis. Eraldo Garibaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentin Gougeon, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Eraldo Garibaldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentin Gougeon in the 65th minute of play. Glasgow Rangers FC's Ercole Di Carlo was substituted for Cosimo Vaiani. Valencia C.F.'s attentive Todd Kidd managed to snatch the ball when Alexander Di Croce made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Grandis in the 70th minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Shao Yan Feng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Armin Quattrocchi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes in the game Florentin Gougeon got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Shao Yan Feng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Grandis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the game, Dennis Di Tommaso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Shao Yan Feng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Glasgow Rangers FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
