After 30 played minutes Seggiano got a freekick which was hit by Carmine Di Piazza. The supporters of Seggiano booed when A.S. Udinese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Delle Donne didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th match minute, Seggiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Di Fabrizio to maneuver through the defense. Udinese supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A.S. Udinese would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
