With a little luck, PLURAL's Alexandrino Curado got control of the ball when Dimas Camargo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandrino Curado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murilo Abreu in the 6th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in PLURAL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Paulo Velasques kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Murilo Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Alexandrino Curado made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Gusmão in the 26th minute of play forced PLURAL's goalkeeper Alexandrino Curado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, MEXACOMX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Vilela to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Palha in the 27th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Nuno Candeias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Cavaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Candeias having to interfere. Alexandrino Curado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Murilo Abreu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when PLURAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Velasques didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to PLURAL getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Paulo Velasques hit a great ball. If Carlos Cavaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes PLURAL got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Velasques. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Cavaco to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Velasques came free, but Nuno Candeias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, PLURAL's Carlos Cavaco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Candeias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 64 played minutes PLURAL got a freekick which was hit by Alex Barros. A collision led to PLURAL getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Vasco Antunes hit a great ball. In the 69th minute of the match Alexandrino Junqueira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandrino Curado skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, PLURAL's Alex Barros got a free kick in the 69th minute. Nuno Candeias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Cavaco went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Carlos Cavaco struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Nuno Candeias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PLURAL. 85 minutes into the match, PLURAL's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Gusmão came free, but Alexandrino Curado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Velasques took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Candeias. Nuno Candeias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Paulo Velasques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Candeias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. When Carlos Leite fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MEXACOMX's protests and gave Carlos Leite a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MEXACOMX's Carlos Leite got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Paulo Velasques came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the PLURAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Velasques couldn't finish the play. PLURAL's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
