Sebastián Campoamor was slow to take the kick. During this time Mandrake fc's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Mandrake fc's corner Sebastián Campoamor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Natxo Calatayud quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Red Hawk Football Club booed when Mandrake fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Serrano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pepe Macho fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mandrake fc's protests and gave Pepe Macho a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mandrake fc's Pepe Macho got a free kick in the 8th minute. Luis-Javier Durango's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elar Quero firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 15th minute, Geofredo Jurado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mandrake fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Aleix Puigdellivol came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Red Hawk Football Club fans jumped to their feet. Red Hawk Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mandrake fc the free kick. In the 44th minute, Luis-Javier Durango ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elar Quero was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis-Javier Durango made a kick off. Elar Quero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis-Javier Durango in the 51st minute of the match. Natxo Calatayud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepe Macho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Leonardo Serrano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
