Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Telmo Sesimbra started the match with the kick off. Jorge Valério showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Sesimbra in the 4th minute of the match. Vladimiro Corte-Real kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Leonardo Malta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Valério showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sabino Maltez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Valério having to interfere. Vladimiro Corte-Real hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Telmo Sesimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Coelho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Reinaldo Calado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Carlos Coelho made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Reinaldo Calado sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute Reinaldo Calado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ponte do Carro's Jorge Valério played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Sesimbra in the 37th minute of play. Jorge Valério made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo Sesimbra in the 39th minute of play. Jorge Valério showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Sesimbra in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ponte do Carro's Humberto Mascarenhas got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Mascarenhas in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Coelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Valério showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Sesimbra, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reinaldo Calado to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Calado in the 51st minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Carlos Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telmo Sesimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jorge Valério tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ponte do Carro's Jorge Valério proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Ponte do Carro from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 61 in the game by Telmo Sesimbra from a close distance when the talented Jorge Valério managed to make a qualified save. Ponte do Carro's players were relieved. Carlos Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Mascarenhas in the 66th minute of the match. Ponte do Carro were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Campus Douro Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. António Guerra took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ponte do Carro's corner António Guerra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Coelho quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Campus Douro Academy getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Victor Sousa hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Jorge Padilha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Coelho was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Carlos Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Mascarenhas in the 78th minute of the match. Ponte do Carro's Jorge Valério proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Ponte do Carro from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute Reinaldo Calado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo Sesimbra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Jorge Valério made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Calado in the 90th minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Carlos Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ponte do Carro's zone, Idalécio Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Valério came out of the goal and Idalécio Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ponte do Carro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Campus Douro Academy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
