Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Platon Checa got the match started through his kick off. When Ander Astudillo came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Picanya FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ander Astudillo couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Schenker during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michael Schenker hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Sebastiano Treviño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Platon Checa, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Sebastiano Treviño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marques Jauregui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Schenker was shown his second yellow card after 10 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 10th minute, Michael Schenker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Platon Checa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Platon Checa fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iron Maiden FC's protests and gave Platon Checa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Iron Maiden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Platon Checa to maneuver through the defense. Platon Checa kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Picanya FC booed when Iron Maiden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodemo Villafane didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Picanya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marques Jauregui came free, but Sebastiano Treviño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Iron Maiden FC booed when Picanya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Vilanova didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastiano Treviño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Platon Checa in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marques Jauregui in the 39th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Sebastiano Treviño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Platon Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Sebastiano Treviño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastiano Treviño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Platon Checa's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Picanya FC's Isidoro Gene got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amado Baltanas got free with Sebastiano Treviño in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pirro Blazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ander Astudillo in the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Marques Jauregui could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Sebastiano Treviño however easily saved by the left post. 63 minutes into the game, Zosimo Helguera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Picanya FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iron Maiden FC the free kick. Sebastiano Treviño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marques Jauregui in the 67th minute. In the 68th match minute, Picanya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narcis Ipătescu to maneuver through the defense. Nicodemo Villafane took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastiano Treviño. Picanya FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iron Maiden FC's Platon Checa got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Platon Checa off the ground. 72 minutes into the game, Picanya FC's Ander Astudillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pirro Blazquez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 78 played minutes Iron Maiden FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicodemo Villafane. Picanya FC's Zosimo Helguera got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastiano Treviño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lluciano Puyol in the 81st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lluciano Puyol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastiano Treviño was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 85th minute, Isidoro Gene made a precise shot to the right of Pirro Blazquez. Iron Maiden FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Iron Maiden FC's Pirro Blazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ander Astudillo in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Picanya FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Iron Maiden FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
