Tim Buß shot from long distance after 9 played minutes, a shot that Renátó Grósz with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. After 13 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Kilian Jonen. After some careless play in the Vérsárkány SE defense, Jonas Fydrich kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renátó Grósz. The Vérsárkány SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renátó Grósz should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Jonas Fydrich notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Vérsárkány SE's Renátó Grósz. Renátó Grósz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Renátó Grósz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Fydrich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renátó Grósz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Haase in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Jan Haase cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Renátó Grósz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Jonas Fydrich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The International Thunders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Jan Haase sped through Vérsárkány SE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Renátó Grósz. In the 43rd minute Jonas Fydrich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renátó Grósz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Jan Haase had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renátó Grósz. Vérsárkány SE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Haase was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jan Haase received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Renátó Grósz came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan Haase slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 51st minute. International Thunders's Jonas Fydrich got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Vérsárkány SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imre Sárközi to maneuver through the defense. Tim Buß took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Renátó Grósz. Vérsárkány SE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Renátó Grósz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Fydrich in the 59th minute of the match. Renátó Grósz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when International Thunders's Jan Haase shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-9 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 66th minute, Steffen Steinki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihály Papp kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Renátó Grósz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steffen Steinki in the 94th minute of play forced Vérsárkány SE's goalkeeper Renátó Grósz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. International Thunders's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
