After 5 minutes, Mauritz Ackerman made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC VERSHINA’dnipro's Anatoliy Konyushenko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Andrej Schifferli fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarada's protests and gave Andrej Schifferli a yellow card for diving instead. Andrej Schifferli kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Volodymyr Ovcharenko struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Basilius Ringeli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC VERSHINA’dnipro. The supporters of Tarada booed when FC VERSHINA’dnipro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ostap Prodan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilius Ringeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volodymyr Ovcharenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Volodymyr Ovcharenko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basilius Ringeli was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Volodymyr Ovcharenko came free, but Basilius Ringeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anatoliy Konyushenko came out and tried to block the shot, but Johnny Raiola slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. Basilius Ringeli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volodymyr Ovcharenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes FC VERSHINA’dnipro got a freekick which was hit by Rio Ferdinand. In the 35th minute, Otto Dubler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauritz Ackerman in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anatoliy Konyushenko prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Volodymyr Ovcharenko made a kick off. Rio Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilius Ringeli having to interfere. Volodymyr Ovcharenko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basilius Ringeli came out and tried to block the shot, but Volodymyr Ovcharenko slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Tarada's Johnny Raiola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anatoliy Konyushenko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Volodymyr Ovcharenko kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Anatoliy Konyushenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Muller in the 62nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Volodymyr Ovcharenko took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Basilius Ringeli to make any attempt to save it. Anatoliy Konyushenko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Dubler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tarada's Basilius Ringeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volodymyr Ovcharenko in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Tarada getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Andrej Schifferli hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the game, Tarada's Otto Dubler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anatoliy Konyushenko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tarada's goalkeeper Basilius Ringeli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Basilius Ringeli made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Rio Ferdinand sent off a good shot on target. The Tarada support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
