Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorge Reijnders took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mathias Evans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Rondo's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Reijnders came free, but Nils-Erik Löfgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Rondo defense, Dino Maquiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Erik Löfgren. The Rondo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Erik Löfgren should have stopped the shot. Nils-Erik Löfgren was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Dino Maquiano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dino Maquiano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Reijnders in the 24th minute of play forced Rondo's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Löfgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Jorge Reijnders recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nils-Erik Löfgren. Jorge Reijnders showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Joeri Wilson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Kickers United's Dino Maquiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils-Erik Löfgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sjoerd Degens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nils-Erik Löfgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Reijnders in the 51st minute of play. Coos Mol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cederik Huts having to interfere. Nils-Erik Löfgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Reijnders went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Rondo defense, Dino Maquiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Erik Löfgren. The Rondo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Erik Löfgren should have stopped the shot. After 62 played minutes Rondo got a freekick which was hit by Wilco Timmerman. Rondo's Nils-Erik Löfgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Kochowski in the 63rd minute of play. Kickers United's Olaf Kochowski got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 minutes of play, Kickers United's Dino Maquiano made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils-Erik Löfgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Leenders in the 76th minute of play forced Rondo's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Löfgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Rondo defense, Dino Maquiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Erik Löfgren. The Rondo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Erik Löfgren should have stopped the shot. Nils-Erik Löfgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Maquiano in the 89th minute of play. Nils-Erik Löfgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Kochowski in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Mathias Evans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
