Remco Witters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Serneels in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Aslan Spor32 defense, Mark Kramer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jack Sparrow. The Aslan Spor32 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack Sparrow should have stopped the shot. One of Aslan Spor32:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pannekoeken:s goal. Ronny Idelberger walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Aslan Spor32 getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jakob De Roeck hit a great ball. Melvin Hulsebos hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Kenneth Ilegems fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remco Witters having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Mathijs Lindenbergh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Matty Hauwaerts fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aslan Spor32's protests and gave Matty Hauwaerts a yellow card for diving instead.
