With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Šindler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the match, FC Kukova's Matej Ťažký sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bálint Bodnár narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's goalkeeper Bálint Bodnár had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ján Kortiš. 19 minutes into the match, FC Kukova's Ľubomír Pittner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bálint Bodnár narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Kukova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ľubomír Pittner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Kukova's Matej Ťažký slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bálint Bodnár. That made the score 1-0 after 40 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gergő Tisza to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Kornél Laczkó was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kukova the free kick. Kornél Laczkó hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Bálint Bodnár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ľubomír Pittner in the 52nd minute of play. The corner ended in Ľubomír Pittner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Bálint Bodnár did a great save. Bálint Bodnár dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 64th minute, Patrik Nagy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, FC Kukova's Juraj Grenčík nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bálint Bodnár made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. A collision led to ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Zsombor Sugár hit a great ball. When Juraj Grenčík came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC Kukova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juraj Grenčík couldn't finish the play.
