The Buitenhout FC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Buitenhout FC's Sjors van Ankeren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 18 minutes into the game, Buitenhout FC's Sjors van Ankeren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marc Brünisholz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, Denti della Vecchia's goalkeeper Marc Brünisholz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sjors van Ankeren. Denti della Vecchia's Marc Brünisholz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Denti della Vecchia from getting a goal against them. Marc Brünisholz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald den Hertogh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 28 in the game by Sjors van Ankeren from a close distance when the talented Marc Brünisholz managed to make a qualified save. Denti della Vecchia's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Gerald den Hertogh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marc Brünisholz was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Mika Iosif hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ferry Hebels kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A hard shot 41 in the game by Gerald den Hertogh from a close distance when the talented Marc Brünisholz managed to make a qualified save. Denti della Vecchia's players were relieved. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Sjors van Ankeren sped through Denti della Vecchia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marc Brünisholz. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjy Frei to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Rafael van Zeggeren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denti della Vecchia's goalkeeper Marc Brünisholz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sjors van Ankeren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerald den Hertogh took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marc Brünisholz. Marc Brünisholz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Sjors van Ankeren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denti della Vecchia's Marc Brünisholz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerald den Hertogh in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Denti della Vecchia booed when Buitenhout FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferry Hebels didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marc Brünisholz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerald den Hertogh in the 75th minute of play. After 78th play minutes Gerald den Hertogh shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Marc Brünisholz and just under the crossbar into goal. After 81 minutes, Benjy Frei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denti della Vecchia and the Buitenhout FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Denti della Vecchia's Benjy Frei got a free kick in the 81st minute. Sjors van Ankeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Fabius Cacciatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, Buitenhout FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Blanker to maneuver through the defense. Ansgar Bizier hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes Gerald den Hertogh shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Denti della Vecchia's Marc Brünisholz to catch but Gerald den Hertogh was lucky. It became 8-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Buitenhout FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
