After a rather tough play, FV Wienerwald's Jan-André Dospel got a free kick in the 5th minute. When FV Wienerwald's Jörg Moratschke in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lions United's goalie prevented a goal. Rudi Boegaert's late challenge caught a FV Wienerwald's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudi Boegaert helped the player get up and apologised. The FV Wienerwald fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when FV Wienerwald's Jörg Moratschke looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With his leg Gillis Heirremans managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when FV Wienerwald's Jörg Moratschke fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lions United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Jörg Moratschke scored to the left of an out of position Gillis Heirremans, making the score, 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Jörg Moratschke notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Lions United's Gillis Heirremans. Gillis Heirremans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Jörg Moratschke put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gillis Heirremans. The supporters of FV Wienerwald booed when Lions United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Van Acker didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Diel got free with Gillis Heirremans in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gillis Heirremans came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by FV Wienerwald's Roman Diel. But to his dismay, Roman Diel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 44th play minute Jörg Moratschke came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gillis Heirremans. 7-0.
The wind increased when Jörg Moratschke made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Diel in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gillis Heirremans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gillis Heirremans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-André Dospel, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Roman Diel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gillis Heirremans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match Louis Remmers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gillis Heirremans skillfully saved the ball. 58 minutes into the game, FV Wienerwald's Jörg Moratschke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gillis Heirremans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Tim Hebel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dries Coremans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Lions United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathieu-Maxim Toussain to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Jörg Moratschke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gillis Heirremans. Lions United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jörg Moratschke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 70th minute, Jörg Moratschke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FV Wienerwald fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. FV Wienerwald's Andre-Yann Kahofer was substituted for Gregor Rühmann. Gillis Heirremans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Diel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gillis Heirremans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörg Moratschke's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Jörg Moratschke came free, but Gillis Heirremans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Diel in the 84th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Gillis Heirremans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Hebel was a little too slow when Carl Vinckx got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 11-1. In the 89th match minute, FV Wienerwald was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steffen Konsel to maneuver through the defense. After 91 minutes, Dries Coremans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lions United and the FV Wienerwald players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Lions United got a freekick which was hit by Dries Coremans. Roman Diel took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gillis Heirremans. Gillis Heirremans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lions United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FV Wienerwald.
