The corner ended in Cederique Neels almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Albertus FC's Ted Stroobos did a great save. The Albertus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ted Stroobos should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnold Hemmen got free with Charles De Meur in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christijan van Asseldonk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Charles De Meur made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zac Bal came free, but Ted Stroobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
