Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anani Kotorov started the match with the kick off. FC CSKA's Stanislav Velikin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save FC CSKA from getting a goal against them. After 6 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Rafael van Zeggeren. Heiko Som made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stiliyan Petrov in the 7th minute of play. FFC Merainies 03's Heiko Som played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anani Kotorov in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by FFC Merainies 03's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivaylo Buranski was slow to take the kick. During this time FC CSKA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC CSKA's Gergin Muchanov to fire away a dangerous shot which Heiko Som despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match FC CSKA got a corner. FFC Merainies 03's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivaylo Buranski ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ivaylo Buranski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Heiko Som quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC CSKA's Stanislav Velikin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FC CSKA from getting a goal against them. Stanislav Velikin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Annar Bemmel in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Anani Kotorov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiko Som saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 32 in the game by Rafael van Zeggeren from a close distance when the talented Stanislav Velikin managed to make a qualified save. FC CSKA's players were relieved. In the 38th minute, Rafael van Zeggeren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FFC Merainies 03 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bozhil Krushovski in the 42nd minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Heiko Som to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rafael van Zeggeren made the kick off in the second half. Stanislav Velikin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Annar Bemmel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erben Medgyesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislav Velikin having to interfere. Donald Ridder kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Anani Kotorov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Heiko Som had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anani Kotorov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anani Kotorov in the 60th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Heiko Som to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yancho Dzhongarski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erben Medgyesi scored 2-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stanislav Velikin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Youri Bemmel fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FFC Merainies 03's protests and gave Youri Bemmel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, FFC Merainies 03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Youri Bemmel to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ivaylo Buranski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC CSKA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivaylo Buranski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heiko Som breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC CSKA's Anani Kotorov got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donald Ridder hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Ivan Zafirov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes, FFC Merainies 03's Herbert Springelkamp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stanislav Velikin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FFC Merainies 03 reached it. After 88 minutes, Bert Bemmel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FFC Merainies 03 and the FC CSKA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bert Bemmel hit a great ball. The long shot by Gergin Muchanov in the 89th minute really tested Heiko Som's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 89thth minute of the game Anani Kotorov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FFC Merainies 03's Heiko Som was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FFC Merainies 03's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
