Waldir Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho Ceresso in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Toledo in the 7th minute of play forced Jucazinho SC's goalkeeper Waldir Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jucazinho SC's Waldir Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Ceresso in the 8th minute of play. Waldir Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho Ceresso in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Jucazinho SC's Délio Valadares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomaž Turban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mauro Lira charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Lira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nitra FC booed when Jucazinho SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, one of Jucazinho SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 20th minute, Mauro Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano Mesquita's late challenge caught a Nitra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Jucazinho SC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Mesquita. After some careless play in the Jucazinho SC defense, Nelsinho Ceresso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldir Moraes. The Jucazinho SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldir Moraes should have stopped the shot. Jucazinho SC's Mauro Lira got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Mauro Lira off the ground. Mauro Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Nelson Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nitra FC's protests and gave Nelson Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nitra FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Nelson Toledo hit a great ball. Waldir Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Waldir Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Vianna in the 37th minute of the match. Lino Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Lino Miranda was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. Jucazinho SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lino Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matheus Pitta hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Délio Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Délio Valadares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jucazinho SC's Waldir Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo das Neves in the 54th minute of play. Mauro Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Nelson Toledo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Jucazinho SC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cipriano Mesquita hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Jucazinho SC's goalkeeper Waldir Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelsinho Ceresso. The supporters of Nitra FC booed when Jucazinho SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Custódio Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Matheus Pitta came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Nitra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matheus Pitta couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd match minute, Jucazinho SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rômulo Amaral to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cauã Guedes got free with Waldir Moraes in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Custódio Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Matheus Pitta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nelsinho Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Waldir Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 82nd minute when Délio Valadares elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 85th minute of the match, Nelsinho Ceresso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Waldir Moraes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Waldir Moraes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cauã Guedes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 87 minute of play. After 91 minutes, Lino Miranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jucazinho SC and the Nitra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Jucazinho SC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Miranda. Nitra FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
