Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matheus Dantas started the match with the kick off. Denílson Catarinense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matheus Dantas in the 3rd minute. Gláuber da Silveira hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Denílson Catarinense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alfredo Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Catarinense having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Wilson Britto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Denílson Catarinense. Wilson Britto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, C.R Perhaps's Wilson Britto got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Guto Rosado made the kick off in the second half. Karavela's Denílson Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Britto in the 53rd minute of play. Wilson Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Válter Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Karavela defense, Matheus Dantas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denílson Catarinense. The Karavela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denílson Catarinense should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Alfredo Teles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denílson Catarinense. Karavela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Teles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After some careless play in the Karavela defense, Alfredo Teles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denílson Catarinense. The Karavela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denílson Catarinense should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nildo Rodrigues during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute Alfredo Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, C.R Perhaps's Wilson Britto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denílson Catarinense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. A collision led to C.R Perhaps getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Aloísio Albuquerque hit a great ball. When Guto Rosado came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Karavela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guto Rosado couldn't finish the play. If Alfredo Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Denílson Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Britto in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Luís Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Karavela's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Britto came free, but Denílson Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.R Perhaps's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
