Thanks to some nice moves Cláudio Moraes could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Fernandinho Trevisan however easily saved by the left post. Adrianinho Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Marcel Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Belmiro de Sena fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio Bulls's protests and gave Belmiro de Sena a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Grêmio Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Richard Ramalho's late challenge caught a Caatiba MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Ramalho helped the player get up and apologised. Fernandinho Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laerte da Silva during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Caatiba MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte da Silva to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After some careless play in the Caatiba MZC defense, Régis de Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandinho Trevisan. The Caatiba MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandinho Trevisan should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Régis de Toledo came free, but Fernandinho Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandinho Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Moraes in the 64th minute of the match. Adrianinho Ortiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Marcel Jacinto made a huge save. After having played for 70 minutes, Régis de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio Bulls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Régis de Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cláudio Moraes scored 5-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernandinho Trevisan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adrianinho Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Jacinto having to interfere. Emanuel Nóbrega took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernandinho Trevisan. Fernandinho Trevisan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Severo in the 86th minute of play forced Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Fernandinho Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cláudio Moraes in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandinho Trevisan saved Caatiba MZC from getting behind. Cláudio Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grêmio Bulls were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Caatiba MZC for a fine match.
