Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kauã Lago started the match with the kick off. The corner led Santos da Bahia Fc's Dito Paraíba to fire away a dangerous shot which Duarte Pontes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With an all-out effort, Santos da Bahia Fc's Duarte Pontes threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wesley Cearense, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Duarte Pontes was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Dito Paraíba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dito Paraíba really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 16th minute, Dito Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Duarte Pontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dito Paraíba. In the 20th minute Homer Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Homer Gol scored to the left of an out of position Duarte Pontes, making the score, 2-0. Leonel Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Duarte Pontes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luciano Correia. Rodriguinho Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Borges in the 33rd minute of play. Duarte Pontes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luciano Correia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dito Paraíba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Pontes was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Duarte Pontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Homer Gol in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Dedê Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Duarte Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Cearense in the 52nd minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Homer Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duarte Pontes. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Homer Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Duarte Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Cearense in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Dito Paraíba made a precise shot to the right of Duarte Pontes. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After 74 minutes of play, Santos da Bahia Fc's Dito Paraíba made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte Pontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonel Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Santos da Bahia Fc getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Feliks Robak hit a great ball. Duarte Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Cearense in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dito Paraíba in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute, Walmyr Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Pombal 2003 F.C. defense, Luciano Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duarte Pontes. The Pombal 2003 F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte Pontes should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Santos da Bahia Fc were the better team. Santos da Bahia Fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
