Edu Cavalcante came out of the goal and Nicolas Alvarenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anderson de Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Alvarenga in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edu Cavalcante saved Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG from getting behind. In the 69th minute Nicolas Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edu Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
