In the 15th minute, Lino Campidelis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Iuri de Alcântara. The goal made the score 3-0. A hard shot 18 in the game by Lino Campidelis from a close distance when the talented Iuri de Alcântara managed to make a qualified save. Golden State Warriors's players were relieved. Iuri de Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Falcão in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Golden State Warriors's zone, Luizinho Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Campidelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Iuri de Alcântara made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, João Francisco Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Reynaldo Dionísio from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Iuri de Alcântara's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Iuri de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Golden State Warriors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Lino Campidelis scored to the left of an out of position Iuri de Alcântara, making the score, 5-0. Anísio Rosado scored 6-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iuri de Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iuri de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Campidelis in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Iuri de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizinho Neves in the 51st minute of play. Iuri de Alcântara didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Lino Campidelis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute. José Pedro Salgado hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. A collision led to Golden State Warriors getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Richard Trigo hit a great ball. Lino Campidelis scored 9-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iuri de Alcântara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizinho Neves in the 86th minute of play forced Golden State Warriors's goalkeeper Iuri de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Giuseppe Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Campidelis in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iuri de Alcântara saved Golden State Warriors from getting behind. In the 96th minute Severino Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Nova Iguaçu MZFC were the better team. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
